O investimento tem como objetivo ampliar a log\u00edstica ferrovi\u00e1ria de biocombust\u00edveis, com foco no transporte de etanol de milho produzido no Centro-Oeste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com o projeto, a capacidade de transporte da companhia ser\u00e1 ampliada em 928 mil metros c\u00fabicos por ano, o que representa um aumento de 32% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao volume movimentado em 2024. As locomotivas h\u00edbridas combinam motor a combust\u00e3o e motor el\u00e9trico, permitindo maior efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica, redu\u00e7\u00e3o do consumo de combust\u00edvel e menor emiss\u00e3o de gases de efeito estufa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segundo o BNDES, a iniciativa deve resultar na redu\u00e7\u00e3o estimada de 62,3 mil toneladas de CO\u2082 por ano, ao incentivar a migra\u00e7\u00e3o do transporte rodovi\u00e1rio para o ferrovi\u00e1rio, modal considerado mais eficiente do ponto de vista ambiental. O transporte por rodovias, de acordo com o banco, emite cerca de oito vezes mais CO\u2082 por tonelada-quil\u00f4metro \u00fatil do que o transporte sobre trilhos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O financiamento integra a estrat\u00e9gia do Fundo Clima, instrumento vinculado ao Minist\u00e9rio do Meio Ambiente e Mudan\u00e7a do Clima, voltado ao apoio de projetos que contribuam para a mitiga\u00e7\u00e3o das mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>O BNDES (Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico e Social) aprovou financiamento de R$ 350 milh\u00f5es, com recursos do Fundo Clima, para que a Rumo adquira seis locomotivas h\u00edbridas e pelo menos 160 vag\u00f5es-tanque.
