No total, foram movimentados 9 bilh\u00f5es de TKU (toneladas por quil\u00f4metro \u00fatil), ante 8,2 bilh\u00f5es em 2024. Desde 2020, o crescimento acumulado chega a 67%, segundo a companhia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O Corredor Norte conecta os estados do Maranh\u00e3o e Tocantins e capta cargas da regi\u00e3o do Matopiba, uma das principais \u00e1reas de expans\u00e3o do agroneg\u00f3cio no pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para atender \u00e0 demanda, o sistema conta com composi\u00e7\u00f5es graneleiras de at\u00e9 240 vag\u00f5es no modelo conhecido como tricotol, formado por tr\u00eas blocos de 80 vag\u00f5es puxados por locomotivas independentes. Cada trem pode transportar at\u00e9 30 mil toneladas de carga em uma \u00fanica viagem, aumentando a produtividade do transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m da soja, o corredor tamb\u00e9m movimenta cargas como combust\u00edveis, milho, farelo de milho e de soja, celulose e ferro gusa.
