No primeiro trimestre de 2026, de acordo com o MPor (Minist\u00e9rio de Portos e Aeroportos) o terminal registrou 1,8 milh\u00e3o de passageiros, acima dos 1,6 milh\u00e3o no mesmo per\u00edodo pr\u00e9-desastre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No segmento internacional, foram 101,5 mil passageiros, alta de 6,1% na compara\u00e7\u00e3o com 2024, indicando recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da conectividade a\u00e9rea da regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A retomada foi viabilizada por investimentos superiores a R$ 560 milh\u00f5es, incluindo recursos do Governo Federal do Brasil no contrato com a Fraport Brasil. As obras inclu\u00edram a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da pista, que ficou submersa por 23 dias, al\u00e9m da substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas el\u00e9tricos, equipamentos operacionais e melhorias na drenagem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segundo o Minist\u00e9rio de Portos e Aeroportos, o aeroporto voltou a operar com maior capacidade e mais preparado para eventos extremos.
